Umrah is a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which can be undertaken at any time of the year. It is also known as the “minor pilgrimage” or the “lesser pilgrimage,” as it is not obligatory like the Hajj pilgrimage.

Umrah involves performing a set of religious rituals, including wearing Ihram (the pilgrim’s clothing), performing Tawaf (circumambulating the Kaaba seven times), performing Sa’i (walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwa), and cutting or shaving the hair.

Muslims who are physically and financially able to perform Umrah are encouraged to do so, as it is believed to be a spiritually rewarding experience and an opportunity to seek forgiveness and blessings from Allah.
